LOAVES AND FISHES

WHAT IS THIS?
Loaves and Fishes is a new program to supplement our spending plan. Practical items, such as office supplies, telephone cost and so on are a significant part of our annual expenses.
We are encouraged to purchase, or donate toward the purchase of, specific items during the year. For example, there may be a "beautification month", where we may donate candles, paint supplies, flowers, and so on. Any money donated will go toward purchase of those items.
You may submit a receipt if you would like credit for your gift. There are many ideas already, and any suggestions and ideas are welcomed.

The Finance Committee and the Treasurer are hoping that, by doing a Monthly Project, we will help our Church meet the Spending Plan, which is set at the annual meeting.

There are envelopes on the hall tables for your cash donations or your receipts.

The plan includes a mutual aid component which will allow all MC USA congregations to provide health coverage for their pastors and workers. Our commitment to this portion of the plan is $10 per attendee. We see this as an outreach mission of our congregation and it will be our Loaves and Fishes Project for January.
