| Beginning the week of October 18, 2010, the long awaited roof project began. The main sanctuary roof will be extended, and the flat roofed section of the foyer and library/meeting room will be changed to a pitched roof. The purpose is to remove the frequent leakages which occur during heavy rain storms. A consequence of this is that the stained glass window on the western wall will be covered - no daylight will penetrate. The background of this page is the window as it now exists, although muted in color. |
